Der christlich-arabische Adam gibt, nicht ganz freiwillig, seine Arbeit als Versicherungsmakler auf. Beunruhigt durch die Krankheit seines Vaters und die Schwangerschaft seiner Frau Lamia, einer feministischen Journalistin, entscheidet er wieder einmal, eigene Geschäftsideen zu verfolgen. Er beschließt vom Touristenstrom in Nazareth zu profitieren. Sein Vorhaben scheint absurd, der Weg zu dessen Verwirklichung bringt ihn in komische Situationen, während das komplizierte Beziehungsnetz, welches das friedliche Zusammenleben sichert, jederzeit

zu zerreißen droht.

Set in the contemporary scene of Nazareth, a sacred world threatened by increasingly commercial interests, Shady Srour’s analytical comedy explores the situation of the Christian Arab Adam (Shady Srour), who finds himself confronted with questions of morality, of religion and of human purpose on the world. Together with his open-minded, intellectual wife (Laëtitia Eïdo), who fights for women’s rights and for justice, he must decide for the faith of their yet unborn child, in a tormented world. With the purpose of making a spiritual change, Adam decides to profit from tourism’s interests and from both, the political and religious instability.
