“Disturbing the Peace” zeigt die Schwierigkeit friedensfördernde Aktivitäten im Konflikt zwischen Arabern und Juden durchzuführen. Die Mitglieder der Gruppe “Combatants for Peace”, ehemalige Kombattanten der palästinensischen und israelischen Seite, versuchen gemeinsam, Aktivismus für ein friedliches Miteinander umzusetzen. Der Film dokumentiert ihre erste zögerliche Annäherung an den „Feind“, das Kennenlernen und ihre gemeinsame Planung der Aktionen.

The documentary „Disturbing the Peace“ highlights the struggles for peace within zones of armed conflicts. The film follows the group “Combatants for Peace”, whose members – former combatants of the Israeli and the Palestinian side –cooperate in peace activism.
