Let’s keep it ist die sehr persönliche Beschäftigung der Regisseurin mit der Politik Österreichs zur Restitution „arisierter“ Liegenschaften. Der Film beschäftigt sich auch mit dem geistigen Klima, das bis zum heutigen Tag eine überzeugende Haltung zum Unrecht der Vergangenheit behindert. Es werden einige bis jetzt wenig bekannte Beispiele heimischer Aufarbeitung gezeigt.
Der Regisseurin war es ein Anliegen, bei diesem Thema auch ihre eigene Familie einzubeziehen.

Let’s keep it is the director’s very personal occupation with Austria’s attitude to the restitution of “aryanized” real estates. The film also deals with the spiritual climate that hampers a convincing attitude to the wrongs of the past to this day. It's also the director's personal tribute to the victims of the darkest chapter of recent history. A chapter which seems to be continued in a certain way - even in the 21th century - when it comes to the restitution of Nazi-looted property to the descendants of Holocaust victims.
